Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Good morning !

What a gorgeous bright and sunny morning.

I hope you have a relaxing and crafty Sunday !  I will be running around trying to find the bits of school uniform the girls will need for tomorrow as they are back to school !  I always manage to lose one bit which takes all day to find !!

Well, here I am back with another card I made using the Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit.

This one is a little notecard, 4x4 in size in fact.  I would be nice to make a few of these as a present for someone special, perhaps a Mother's Day present ?

Issue 115 of Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine will shortly be hitting the shelves and in there you will find a stationery set I made which consists of some notecards and a folder to keep them in.

I stamped out the flower 3 times and cut each layer and then layered it with foam squares to make it 3D.  I added some pink seed beads to the centre.

I hope you have liked the cards I have made with the February Card Kit.  Hopefully I can make a few more as there are still stamps I haven't yet used !

Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Good afternoon. 

 Here I am again with another card made from the Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit.

This card is very clean and simple !

I just love the colour of the Stonehenge (just down the road from me !) Bazzill together with the Piglet Pink Bazzill - so pretty,  joined together with the gorgeous Glitz Hello Friend paper.

I really have had a lot of fun from the February Card Kit !

Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Good afternoon !

I hope you have all had a good week and enjoyed the school holidays ?

We met up with some lovely friends of ours this morning and had a walk by the river and canal in Bradford on Avon and then had lunch out.  It was such a beautiful morning, the sun was out, the swans were chasing the dogs that had decided to have a swim *brrr* and the daffodils are just about to break through - Spring felt like it is finally on its way, at last !

I have been having a play with the February Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.  This kit is so pretty and I love everything about it.  I have made a few cards and will blog them over the coming days.

I just love those cute little envelopes, just right for hiding a little personal message !

Simon Says Challenge - Joy's Inspiration Photo - White On White

Good afternoon !

I hope you are all well and enjoying the school holidays ?

We have been super busy at home this week.  We usually go away in our caravan, this being the first trip out at the start of the year but we have had to stay at home due to house sorting not only here, but elsewhere too so we had to give up our holiday :(

Still, it isn't all bad as I now have a lovely tidy and clean craft room and it looks gorgeous - I am so pleased that all that hardwork was worth it !

Now, as I have been so busy this week I made a tag.  This tag was super quick to make but my, it looks so pretty in real life.

I used my Cuttlebug machine of course for the embossing and die cutting.

You can't see it very well but I used the Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder on the main tag itself.

The wreath is by Memory Box "Catalina Wreath" die

The flower is an MFT die-namic "Rolled Flower"

The letters are also MFT Die-namics "By The Letters"

The butterflies are punched from a Martha Stewart punch "Monarch Butterfly"

I loved the sketch published in Cards Magazine so I had a play and made this card using the goodies in the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit.

From The Heart

Good morning !  

I hope you are all well and had a good weekend ?  We had a busy weekend but very enjoyable and now its Monday again !  Wow, it soon comes round !

I had the chance to have a "play" last week, just some time to make a card just because I wanted to which was really nice and really relaxing.  I adore my DT and magazine work but just sometimes it is nice to sit down and just make something because you want to.

I finally ordered a stamp I have wanted for a long, long time and Flopsey arrived in my SSS package last week and I was dying to use him !  With a very sad face I think this particular stamp has now been discontinued but there are lots of other My Favorite Things,  Flopsey stamps which are just as cute !

The DP's are Fancy Pants "Love Note" - soooo yummy !

The stamp is My Favorite Things "Flopsey Bunch of Hearts" and he has been coloured with Copics

I have linked all the other things I have used on my card.  The flowers and lace came from my stash.
