Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Clean and Simple

Yes, we have a new challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge !

The theme this week is 

Clean and Simple!

The Design Team are this week showcasing Hero Arts Products.

For this week's challenge, as always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a fabulous $50 voucher for the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I stamped the flowers using some Hero Arts Daubers and pressed the card onto the stamp rather than the other way round.  This is a large stamp so its easier that way.  The colours are really bright and fresh and I added some glitter paste onto the petals so it has a lovely glittery sparkle to it too.

For my background I used a few distress inks and blended them before stamping the city scene firstly in London Fog and then Versafine Onyx Black.  I also added a few fine spots of water for stars.

STAMPlorations Guest Designer - April Challenge

I was absolutely thrilled to bits when I found out I had won the challenge over at STAMPlorations in February !   I made a new home card which was inspired by Maria's card.  You can see my card and post HERE.

My prize was to choose two amazing sets of stamps from STAMPlorations and be a Guest Designer for their April Challenge so, here I am !!

The Challenge for April is......

and here is my card !

My friend had her 40th Birthday coming up so this challenge was just perfect.  I stamped the "40" in a pale grey as she wasn't keen on turning 40 so I wanted it to be subtle !!!

The STAMPlorations stamp set I used was Vignette : Eclectic Florals.

I coloured the flowers with distress markers, very lightly spritzed them with water and stamped them onto watercolour card.  These are beautiful stamps and perfect for this technique.
