Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Special Lady/Girly

Thank you so much to everyone who joined in with our Anything Goes Challenge !

It's Wednesday and

Yes, we have a new challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge !

The theme this week is

Special Lady/Girly

(Don't forget that Mother's Day is on Sunday 15th March in the UK !!).

The Design Team are this week showcasing Doodlebug products !

For this week's challenge, as always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a fabulous $50 voucher for the Simon Says Stamp Store!

I used the fabulous Kraft in Color 6x6 paper pad for my card.  I love this paper pad and will be buying another one shortly.  It is one of those paper pads where you use nearly every single sheet from the pad and we all know that doesn't happen very often !  The colours and patterns in this pad are so versatile, I love it !

I found out my "Best Mom Ever" stamp set which is a Simon Says Stamp Exclusive and stamped and roses and flowers onto Tim Holtz Watercolour Card and then watercoloured them.  I then fussy cut them out before placing on this pretty journaling card.

I love how this card turned out and shall be saving it for my Mum (shhhhh !!).

You can see a list of everything I used below !

We hope you can join us in our challenge this week and we look forward to seeing what you make !

Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a great day !

Clearly Besotted Stamps - March Release Teaser Day 4

So, how are you enjoying the Clearly Besotted Stamps teasers so far ? I hope you are loving them as much as I am !  Not long to go now before you can get your hands on them !!

Today I am showing you another fabulous stamp set along with matching dies.  Now, if you like a good wreath then this one is for you !

This set is called "On Your Day".

I love a good wreath as much as anyone but when I saw the large flowers in this set, I had other ideas !

I die cut the flowers and then cut them away from the large leaves.  I die cut and stamped the wreath and used parts of the wreath between the flowers.  I added the little corn die cuts between together with some mini sparkly sequins.

The sentiments I heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

These stamps and dies will be available to purchase from Clearly Besotted Stamps on Thursday 5th March (that's tomorrow) from 10pm !!

Thank's for your visit and join me back here tomorrow where I will have another teaser to show you !

Clearly Besotted Stamps - March Teaser Day 3

It's a beautiful morning here, the sun is shining and there is a nip in the air and my little narcissi have opened their little yellow heads - Spring is finally on its way (although I'm still hoping for 6' of snow as we haven't had any this year !!).

Anyway, with Spring on our minds I decided that the next card I would show reflect those feelings !

Now, there has been a lot of talk recently (and photos) of gold foiling and I've loved seeing all that.  I remembered that hidden away in my stash I had some packets of foils I bought many years ago and went on the hunt for them.  Well, I did find them but unfortunately my efforts were very unsuccessful and I couldn't get the foil to stick no matter what I used.  So, I decided to use the next best technique and heat embossed with gold embossing powder instead !

I actually made two cards with the gorgeous stamp set "Just Darling" which features daffodils, iris' and beautiful sentiments for the ladies in our lives.

I tried my hand at some messy water colouring for my first card using the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours set.

The second card I water coloured with distress markers.

This gorgeous stamp set (along with the rest of the March release) will be available to buy from the Clearly Besotted Stamps store on Thursday 5th March from 10pm !

I hope you are enjoying these Teasers and don't forget there are lots more to see over at Stephanie's blog from the other Clearly Besotted Stamps Designers and Guests.

I'll be back tomorrow with more !

Wonderful Mother
