BasicGrey Challenges - A Recipe

Here we are again for another BasicGrey Challenges ! Where does the time go ?!

"For this fortnights Challenge we would like you to use the following Recipe :)

4 Different Types of Embellishments

(You can have as many of each type as you wish, as long as there are 4 different kinds, for example Ribbon, Pearls, Flowers, Charms etc etc)

3 Different Patterned Papers

You can have as many plain matting papers as you wish, just as long as there are 3 patterned papers)

1-2 Images and/or 1-2 Sentiments

(You can choose to have up to 2 in either of these, or even both if you wish)

Don't forget though, to be eligible to win the fab prize for this challenge you MUST use at least one item from BasicGrey somewhere on your creation, it would also be helpful if you could state on your post what that item is, makes it easier for us you see :)"

My four embellies are the ribbon, bell, pearls and punched holly.

The three patterned papers I used are a mixture of Jovial and Eskimo Kisses.

The image is the gorgeous Lil Christmas Evie by Tickled Pink Stamps. I just love their quirky images and this is the first one I have bought. I thought perhaps hubby could have this card for his Christmas card this year to remind him of me ! hehehehe !!! (I don't think !!).

The sentiment is a ticket stamp by Whimsey Stamps and I stamped it onto a Tim Holtz ticket die.

I also used the snow flurries die for the red card. These on the edge dies are fantastic and so effective !

We hope you can join us this week in our challenge and we look forward to seeing all your amazing creations. The DT have awesome inspiration for you over on the challenge blog.

Take care and wrap up warm. We had a very disappointing very small sprinkling of snow this morning but boy, its freeeeeeezing !

Love 'n' hugs,

  4. Hi Jo,
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. I've had my eye on this little cutie for a while & she looks wonderful on your card & so beautifully coloured. I'm sure hubbie would love it! Hope you're keeping warm, despite the freezing weather. I'd love it to snow here. There's no point to it being so cold if you can't have snow! Hope you're keeping well.
    Big Hugs,
    Andie xx
