Well, I can't believe another fortnight has just flown by - where on Earth does the time go ? Your inspirations from the photograph last time were amazing and all so different too, they were such a pleasure to look at.

This week, we have another enjoyable challenge for you - Embossing ! This can be dry embossing, heat embossing or any other form of embossing you can think of !! Don't forget you could be in with a chance of winning all those scrummy BasicGrey goodies !

I just knew when I saw this challenge that I had to use my new Quickutz goodies which I received during the week. I have been after these leaf die cuts for months and even had an order placed with an online craft store for them and after waiting for 6 months I was just about to give up when a few blogging buddies suggested I try Scrapbuggy in the USA for them and guess what ? They arrived within a week ! I can't believe I have waited for soooo long !! In fact, my refund from the online craft store took longer than these dies took to order and arrive and even then it wasn't plain sailing and I had to get "huffy" to get my refund properly !

Never mind, I had fun playing in the end !

The base card is Bazzill kraft.

The DP's are BasicGrey "Mellow".

The brown, orange, green and gold card are Core'dinations.

I embossed the bottom panel of the card with my Quickutz embossing folder "leaves" and then sanded it. I then sprayed it with Harvest Orange and Gold Glimmer Mists. It looks very pretty in real life as the sanded parts have soaked up the Harvest Orange Glimmer Mist and are all orangey and sparkly. Very Autumnal.

The image is a fabby image which I love at this time of year from Toodles and Binks and these little chaps are called "Matthieu and Arthur". The have been coloured with ProMarkers.

Colours : Skin - ivory, blush and Copic E01. Hair - tan and chestnut. Hat and top - marsh green and pumpkin. Trousers - chestnut. Arthur - tan, cinnamon, cocoa and chestnut. Leaves - marsh green and chestnut. Lolly - Copic R29 lipstick red and Prismacolor Premier sunburst yellow.

The leaves have been die cut with a Quickutz cookie cutter die called "leaf shapes". I inked the edges with some brown distress ink.

The ribbon is from my stash.

The buttons are all BasicGrey.

Don't forget that my blog candy will be ending later today and I will be adding a new kit later this evening and believe me - you will definately want the next one !!

Hope you all have a great Saturday and manage to get some crafting time in ! We look forward to seeing all your embossed creations !

Thank you for your visit and for any comments you may leave - it's so kind.

Hugs,
