Share Handmade Kindness

Good morning ! What a wet and blustery one it is too ! Funny enough, my card today is just perfect for this weather (although I expect the umbrella would blow inside out !!).

I am sure by now you have seen the amazing Jennifer McGuire's challenge of "Share Handmade Kindness"  What an amazing idea and a way of kickstarting us to "just give" cards or other handmade items to simply brighten someone's day.   I make and give cards and other handmade items for occasions but very rarely "just because" and this challenge has been the kickstart I certainly need !

Here is a link just in case you haven't seen it.

We have some close friends who are going through a really tough time at the moment and I thought of them when I saw this challenge.  We keep in touch in the usual ways but I thought that a card may just brighten their days a little.

This stamp set by Mama Elephant was just perfect.

I added some raindrops with clear embossing powder and also added glossy accents to their little yellow raincoats, green wellies and umbrella !!

I hope you too have received some inspiration to create and share some handmade kindness with someone.  For full details hop on over to Jennifer's blog where she gives you all the details to join in with this motivational challenge.
