Good afternoon ! and what a gorgeous afternoon it is too ! Typical now the kiddlies are back to school that the sun should make an appearance !
Anyway, today is the start of a special week over at Simon Says Stamp ! We are celebrating STAMPtember !
and here are all the details !
Enjoy your hop around the DT and good luck !
Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. Over the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a STAMPtember ™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.
We are celebrating with a STAMP-TEMBER BLOG HOP !!
You should have arrived here from JENNIFER's Blog , if you didn't, then you will need to go to the Simon Says Stamp Blog where the hop starts :-)
This week we are asking you to Put a STAMP On It
( ie you must use a stamp somewhere on your cards/creations NO DIGI'S allowed this week :-))
YOU could be the lucky winner of our GRAND PRIZE $100 Simon Shopping Spree!
All of the Design Team and our lovely Designer in the September Spotlight, Shannan, have made a special handmade work of art to share with you and we all have a special prize on our blogs too!
Each member of the DT are giving away a $25 spending spree in the Simon Says Stamp Store !!
In order to be eligible for any of the prizes you must complete the hop, leaving comments at all the blogs along the way AND enter the challenge ! :-) We will announce the winners as soon as possible after the hop finishes at 8am EST on Wednesday 12th September
We are showcasing Washi Tape this week, you don't have to use it to join in but if you have some we would love to see it on your creations :-)
Here is my card for the STAMPtember hop !!
The DP's I used are Simple Stories "Awesome"
The stamps I used are from the new My Favorite Thing's stamp and die-namics set called "Circus Spectacular" and I stamped these in Memento Rhubarb Stalk and VersaMagic Pumpkin Spice.
The tickets were die cut with the Tim Holtz ticket strip die and the ticket stamps are in the MFT stamp set.
The stars were die cut from Spellbinders Stars Nestabilities
The button is from my stash and I used this Doodlebug twine
The washi tape I used (which you can just see behind the image) is K&Company Black Dots Smash Tape
I also used the MFT Wonky Scallop Border Die
I hope you like what I have made for the Hop and don't forget to leave a comment and enter the challenge yourself !
Thank you for your visit and I hope you enjoy the hop and take part in our celebrations !
