BasicGrey Challenges - Ribbon and Lace

Silly billy me forgot to post the new BasicGrey Challenges post on my blog yesterday !  I suddenly remembered in the middle of the night that I hadn't done it !!  

So, the new challenge over at BasicGrey Challenges is 

RIBBON AND LACE

I used BasicGrey Eerie Papers

For the tag I used the MFT die-namics tag from the "Tag You're It" set

The stamps I used on the tag are from the new MFT set called "Primitive Pumpkins".  It also includes these wonderful pumpkin die-namics too

The lacey mesh and ribbon are from my stash.

MFT Guest Designer Entry !

Good afternoon ! Lovely to see you !!  

Well, by now you all should know how much I LOVE MFT stamps and die-namics, I just can't get enough of them ! I was asked yesterday if I would be entering the MFT Guest Designer challenge over at the MFT blog and at first I was reluctant - have you seen how talented those gals are on the MFT 

DT ?  Oh my goodness !  Anyway, after much pondering and loving the sketch they would like you to follow for your entry I decided that I have to be in it, to win it, right ?

So, here is that fabulous sketch....

Simon Says Challenge - Anything Goes !

Good afternoon ! I hope you are all well and surviving this awful weather.  We have been very lucky in this area although all around us has been chaos and the flooding looks dreadful.

We have had a busy week at home, sorting out the spare bedroom in the hope the girls will be able to use it as a "chill base" !  We did our first car boot sale at the weekend and we were very successful although we did end up bringing a lot back home with us so we shall have to do another one soon !

Anyway, it's Wednesday so.......

Simon Says....Emboss It !

Good afternoon ! I hope you are all well and raring to go ?!!

Welcome to another Simon Says Challenge !

This week our challenge is

EMBOSS IT !

We would like to see embossing on your project, whether it be wet or dry embossing

The DP's I used are Simple Stories "Happy Day".  I machine stitched them

I embossed the green panel with a Cuttlebug folder "Birthday" but unfortunately you can't see it very well in this picture :(

The stamp I used is by Stampendous and is "Changito B'Day Birthday Monkey".  This has been coloured with Copics

BasicGrey Challenges - Harvest Time

Here we are, at the weekend again. I hope you have all had a good and enjoyable week. The girls seemed to have settled back into school well and all their activities have started up again so I am running around, backwards and forwards again !

I have also been busy crafting and starting to use those gorgeous Autumnal colours and receiving some Halloween goodies which I can't wait to get started on !

Anyway, its BasicGrey Challenges time and this fortnight our challenge is

HARVEST TIME

We would like to see your take on harvest, Autumn etc.

The stamp is from a set I bought a few years ago but still adore from Funky Kits.  It is the Sugar Nellie Autumn Kit and you can still purchase it.  I have used Copics for colouring.

The sentiment and acorns are from a stamp set by TPC Studio called "Autumn Harvest"

The leaves are by Prima.

The stamps I used are from the new My Favorite Thing's stamp and die-namics set called "Circus Spectacular" and I stamped these in Memento Rhubarb Stalk and VersaMagic Pumpkin Spice.

The tickets were die cut with the Tim Holtz ticket strip die and the ticket stamps are in the MFT stamp set.

The stars were die cut from Spellbinders Stars Nestabilities

The button is from my stash and I used this Doodlebug twine

The washi tape I used (which you can just see behind the image) is K&Company Black Dots Smash Tape

I also used the MFT Wonky Scallop Border Die
