Season's Greetings

 Saturday morning, wrapped up cozy with a mug of coffee I spent an inspiring hour with Alison Bomber on YouTube !  Alison was watercolour stamping with a selection of foliage stamps and made 4 stunning pieces.  You can see her tutorial HERE.

Owning a number of the supplies Alison used already I got to work !  I turned my piece into a Christmas card.

I added some white splatters and also some splatters of pearl Perfect Pearls for a snowy/frosty effect.

The sentiment is from an old stamp set by Waltzingmouse Stamps.

I took inspiration from Debby Hughes' card that she made a few weeks ago using this Peaceful Trees clear stamp set.  I fell in love with Debby's watercolouring and soft feel of the card and colours.  I used a mix of different watercolours for the sky and distress inks for the trees.

As well as splattering white gouache paint, I also added some splatters of Perfect Pearls adding some sparkle to the falling snow.
