Christmas Blessings

How fantastic that the sun is shining for Remembrance Day. 

In between running the girls around yesterday, I had some time spare to make a card albeit, a very quick card ! The sketch over at Crazy for CAS was just perfect ! 

Now you can see what I mean !!

How brilliant !  Clearly Besotted Stamps have just published their new challenge - Christmas !  Just perfect for me to enter my card !

I just love these Clearly Besotted Modern Christmas trees !!

I had a parcel of goodness from Simon Says Stamp the other day and I had ordered the metallic silver embossing paste so I tried it out on the tree.  I used the Simon Says Stamp falling snow stencil and moved it around until I had just enough dots on the tree and then applied the paste !

I can also highly recommend the Christmas colour Hero Arts inks too - such gorgeous colours and so rich and the gold and silver ones are perfect too !

A BIG hello !

When I saw the challenge over at Less is More I knew I just had to reach for the Hero Arts neon inks again !!!

Their challenge is "Dark background with a splash of colour(s)"

I've also had this fabulous "Hello" die from Simon Says Stamp hiding in a box and it was screaming to be used !

I used the Simon Says Stamp diagonal stripe stencil and inked the stripes with ink.

A fun and simple card !

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - CAS

It's a bit of an odd day today !  One of the girls is at home for a TD day so has an extra day to her holiday and the other one has gone back to school - poor thing !  I'm also starting back to work tomorrow on a short term contract which will come as a shock to the system as I've been working from home for the last 5 years or so.  I shall still be doing my work from home but doing the office work as extra.  "Keeping thinking of the money" the hubster says !!!  Wish me luck !

We had a lovely time over the school holiday but as they say, all good things must come to an end.  We are now on the countdown to Christmas and I must say, I'm feeling quite Christmassy already this year.
