Simon Says Stamp Splitcoaststampers Challenge - Nautical

Good morning !

Did you know that Simon Says Stamp also has challenges over on the Splitcoaststampers site ? Well, they do !!

They run for a whole month (so you have plenty of time to get inspiration and join in !) and one lucky winner (who will be chosen at random) will receive a Simon Says Stamp Grab Bag !!

You can find the challenge RIGHT HERE !  We look forward to "seaing" !!  All your cards (or other creations too !).

Now, we as the SSS DT are allowed to join in and play but we won't be able to win the grab bag, they are just for you !!

Anyway, here's the card I made :

I'm so pleased this photo came out OK because just after taking a few, I knocked on of my lamps off the table and have broken the daylight bulb that was in it :(   I'm now in search of a little daylight bulb that will go in my little studio lights.  Pray for quick delivery !

I just love these papers by Fancy Pants in fact, I'm never disappointed in their papers, they are one of my favourite companies.  I machine stitched the card.

I also love these clear stamps by Kelly Purkey, the fonts on the sentiments are gorgeous and so different.  I love this one.

Right, onwards and upwards.  I have the hubster at home today as its his day off so had better start making the list of jobs for him to do ;)

Thank Crunchie it's Friday !  Have a good one !

You Are Amazing !

Hello on this blustery Summer's day - feels more like Autumn to me !

I was having a look around at some of the CAS challenges and the one over at Play Date Cafe caught my eye, the colour scheme of black, white and nectarine.

The challenge over at Play Date Cafe is also being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp !

Here is the picture :

I've also been wanting to play with some new stamps from Simon Says Stamp Exclusives called "Petal Pieces" so this colour scheme really caught my eye.

I combined two ink colours for the "nectarine", Hero Arts Soft Cantaloupe and Versacolor "Paprika" which was just that touch darker - such gorgeous colour inks.

I am also entering the following challenges :

CAS on Sunday - Black, White and one other

Addicted to CAS - Circles

Splitcoaststampers - Ways to Use It - Using One

Just to let you know that a new challenge has started over at Simon Says Stamp on Splitcoasters.  We have a "Nautical" theme.  So, to be in with a change of winning a Simon Says Stamp grab bag, join in our nautical challenge HERE !

Thank's for popping by.  I hope you have a great Thursday !

Simon Says Challenge.....Transport

It's that time of the week again, it's Wednesday and that can only mean one thing......time to announce our next challenge over at Simon Says Challenge !!

Thank you to everyone who joined in last week with our last challenge.  We had lots of wonderful entries !

This week our challenge is

Transport

We are showcasing Basic Grey products this week, you don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them :-)

As usual Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 voucher to her FANTASTIC Simon Says Stamp Superstore !!

Same as last week, I did have fun making this card.  My scene just got bigger and bigger !

We have a caravan and just love it !  We can't wait until our first trip away in a few weeks time !

I used the same technique for the sun burst as I did last time but some of the rays at the bottom I made a little shorter as unfortunately, I had already stamped the hearts on the card and didn't want to cover them up !  You can see how I positioned all the rays in this post HERE

You can see a list of everything I used below with a link to it in the Simon Says Stamp Store.

The DT have made some amazing cards for your inspiration again this week.  We look forward to seeing all your creations !

Thank you so much for your visit and I hope you have a great Wednesday !

I am entering my card into the following challenges :

Cards und More - Summer Fun
