Simon Says Challenge !

Thank you all so much for joining in our paper piecing challenge last week - fun wasn't it ?

Thank you also for joining me in my blog candy and for all your lovely comments. As promised, I am picking the winner this morning so without further ado the winner of my blog candy is :

Random Integer Generator

Here are your random numbers: 13 - Lisa

Timestamp: 2009-07-15 09:32:42 UTC

Could you please email me with your name and address (link in sidebar) and I will pass your details to Heidi at Simon Says Stamp and she will put your stamps in the post to you.

Now onto this week's challenge. This week we would like you to make a project with fruit in mind. It can be a fruity stamp, fruity paper, embellishments or even just fruity colours like red, orange, green, yellow.

The DT have come up with some amazing projects for this challenge - just take a look at the challenge blog for inspiration.

Here is my "fruity" card !

The DP's are Basic Grey "Offbeat" which I have inked with antique linen distress ink. I have punched the edges with a Martha Stewart Flourish Edge Punch.

The image is by Sarah Kay "Anyone for Apple Pie ?". I just love this stamp. She has been coloured with ProMarkers and Copics and I have cut her out with nesties and inked the edges with antique linen distress ink.

The flowers are a mixture of Prima flowers and flowers from Bunny Zoe Crafts. The beads on wires are from Hobbycraft. I have misted them with some gold glimmer mist.

The leaves are a Sizzix die cut from Core'dinations card.

We look forward to you being able to join us in our challenge.

Heidi is very generously giving away another $25 spending spree and if you look closely at the DT's own blogs, you might find some candy hiding somewhere !

Take care and keep an eye out as I shall be offering some more candy another day !
