Simon Says Challenge

Don't forget to enter my BasicGrey Blog Candy ! All you have to do is CLICK HERE !

What a great response we had to our receipe challenge last week - fun wasn't it ?!!

This week, we want to see you "all stitched up" !!! This can be real or faux stitching just so long as we can see some stitching in your creations.

Also this week, we have two very special announcements to make :-

Please welcome our Designer in the Spotlight who this week is Greta. Greta is only 11 years old and what talent she has ! We are so pleased to be able to show her off to you ! There are more details about Greta on the Simon Says Challenge Blog.

Also, we would like to give a very, very warm welcome to a new Design Team Member. We are so lucky and honoured to welcome Kim onto our DT. I have worked with Kim before and its an absolute pleasure and I'm so pleased to be working with her again - welcome to the team Kim !!

Now as today is the start of the Autumn Equinox (so I read somewhere last night !!!) I thought it would be fitting to make a Halloween card and I was also dying (no pun intended !!) to use some of the new BasicGrey Eerie papers Heidi had sent me in a DT pack along with some other spooky goodies !

The DP's are BasicGrey, Eerie, Tombstone (this was double sided and I have used both sides for you to see).

The image is of course Tilda and she has been coloured with ProMarkers.

Colours : Skin - ivory, blush and Copic E01. Hair - tan, cinnamon and chestnut. Clothes - plum, pumpkin, burnt orange, bright green. Boots - warm grey 5 and black. Spider - warm grey 4.

I inked the edges of the image with spiced marmalade and black soot distress inks and added some faux stitching with a gold and black pen.

The ghosts are from Quixotic Paperie - fab aren't they ?

The word "Spooky" is from an Inkadinkado clear stamp set sent to me by Heidi and this has been stamped in Cactus Stazon ink and edged with black soot distress ink.

The dew drops were also from Heidi.

The rest of the DT have been so busy and made stunning creations for you this week. Please go over and see what they have been up to and pay them a visit and leave them some lovely comments. You never know, you may even find some blog candy on your travels !!

We look forward to seeing your creations.

Thank you for your visit and for any comments you leave.

Don't forget that the blog hop over at Quixotic Paperie finishes today so be quick to join in !
