Simon Says Challenge - Sparkle

Good morning ! Goodness, what a wet and blustery one it is too ! How things change so quickly. I was scraping the ice off the car yesterday morning !

Anyway, snuggle up warm in your craft room and come and join us in our challenge over at Simon Says Challenge ! We have a lovely one for you this week, SPARKLE ! The DT are showcasing Whiff of Joy stamps this week and also heat embossing. If you have any Whiff of Joy stamps and/or the equipment for heat embossing, we would love to see what you can come up with but its not necessary for this challenge.

The image is a Whiff of Joy image. The swirls around the outside edge are also by Whiff of Joy.Simon Says Stamp has a great range of Whiff of Joy stamps including lots of Christmas ones. I added some picket fence stickles as snow and also dabbed some on the holly.

The holly was punched from a Martha Stewart Holly Punch. The berries are red wooden beads I found in my stash.

The sentiment is a Melissa Frances transfer. I see that you can also buy the same sentiment set in a set of clear stamps too which would be really handy. You can see the stamp set here.

The heat embossing is around the edge of the patterned paper. I inked the edges with Versamark ink and then heat embossed using gold embossing powder. It is so sparkly in real life !
