Simon Says Challenge - Children's Holiday/Back to School Challenge

Good afternoon ! I hope you are all having a great day and enjoying the sunshine today. I can't believe we have less than a week to go and the kiddos are back at school ! Still, I think they are ready for it (as am I !!).

Simon Says Challenge has been running a Children's Holiday/Back to School Challenge throughout the school holidays and the theme has been "Anything Goes".

The lucky winner will win one of the Junior Stamper Kits that have just gone on sale in the Simon Says Stamp Store.

Mollie was really keen to join in with this challenge especially as she was lucky enough to receive one of these amazing kits to take part in the Junior Stamper Kit Blog Hop.  She says that if she should be lucky enough to win this challenge then she will pass the kit onto one of her friends to introduce them to all things crafty which I thought was a lovely idea !

You can see all the other creations she made with Izzy in the post below this one.  You still have time to join in with the hop and be in with a chance of winning a $25 spending spree in the Simon Says Stamp Store.  All you have to do is leave a comment on my blog under the blog hop post and I will select a winner using the random number generator on Thursday !

Mollie made a leaflet all about "The Seasons".  She used the Twistable Crayons from the kit.

Thank you for your visit today and Mollie and I hope you have a great Tuesday !

Hello ! I am sooo excited !

 Why ?

Because Simon Says Stamp have just launched a NEW JUNIOR STAMPER KIT ! In celebration of the launch of this fantastic new kit from Simon Says Stamp we are having a blog hop around a few Mums who have been playing with this this amazing new kit with their children and we have joined together to show you what we have made !!

Here is a word from Heidi :

"In celebration of crafting with our kids, we have developed this "Junior Stamper" kit targeted for ages 4 through 14. The kit includes whole assortment of products from stamps, ink, neon papers, coloring pages, twistable crayons, markers, window markers to stickers, washi tape, and scissors (safe for 4+). There is a huge list of supplies and many of them reusable for a long time to come. It's important to celebrate our children and so the kit is complete with a "Junior Stamper" Certificate of achievement".

This post is picture heavy but I hope you enjoy what you see !

My two girls, Mollie and Izzy were thrilled to receive their kit through the post !

Mollie is age 10 and Izzy is age 5 and here are photos of what they made from the kit :

Simon Says Challenge - Back To School

Simon Says Stamp

Hellooo ! I hope you are all happy and well and having a good week so far.  We had a gorgeous day in Bournemouth on Monday and took the girls to Adventure Wonderland where we all had lots of fun.  Its a fantastic place to take small children so they can hop on and off lots of rides to their hearts content.  We thought it would be a bit tame for Mollie but she loved it too !  Anyway......

Welcome to another Simon Says Challenge !

Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog

As usual Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 voucher to her FANTASTIC Simon Says Stamp Superstore !!

This week our challenge is BACK TO SCHOOL.

This week the Design Team are showcasing Sizzix products.  If you have any of these then we would love to see you use them in our challenge but if not, we would love to see your creations anyway !!

The DT have made some amazing cards for your inspiration.

I made a book mark this week using :

My Mind's Eye 6x6 papers "Be Amazing" which I machine stitched and also Echo Park's "Charming", "This and That" papers.

I then used my Sizzix Big Shot to die cut the apple and tickets.

The apple is from a Spellbinders Shapeabilities set "Nested Apples"

The tickets and Tim Holtz Sizzix Die "Ticket Strip" and I stamped these with some little Hero Arts ticket stamps I found in my stash.

The text has been created using a Dymo machine similar to this one

The little wooden ruler is by Maya Road "Vintage Wood Tiny Ruler"

We hope you can join us in our challenge this week and we look forward to seeing all your "Back To School" creations.

Don't forget the children's challenge which is still going on over at the Simon Says Challenge Blog !

Thank you so much for your visit.  Make sure you come back on Thursday when I have something very exciting to share with you !

Have a great Wednesday !

Guest Designer - Sketch Saturday - Week #221

I am so sorry I am so late with my post for Sketch Saturday. I bought myself a new computer (an iMac) on Wednesday and it has been an absolute nightmare to set up. At one point I had 36,000 emails being downloaded when I set up my email account !! I also have 24,000 photos in my library as its duplicated if not tripled them all ! Arhhhh ! I think we are slowly getting there and I'm beginning to like my new Mac now !!

This is my third Saturday of being a Guest Designer for Sketch Saturday !

This is the sketch for this week :

and this is the card I made.

I must say I am finding it very spooky that this card is very similar to the one I have just made for BasicGrey Challenges when I made this card for Sketch Saturday well over a month ago !

Anyway, the papers are BasicGrey "What's Up".  I also used the What's Up emellies to go onto the card, the die-cuts and transparencies, the "What's Up Pops Layered Cardstock Stickers and the What's Up Flags.

We are being sponsored by Prairie Fairy Designs this week who are giving away a $10 certificate to the lucky winner.

We look forward to seeing your take on this week's sketch.

Thank you so much for your visit and I hope you have a great Monday.  Look's like we may be off to Bournemouth for the day as its the hubster's last day of his holiday and I believe the sun is due to make an appearance again today !  Fingers crossed !
