Good afternoon ! It's that time again for another challenge over at BasicGrey Challenges !
This fortnight we are getting into the Christmas spirit as "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" !!
Just remember you do need to use at least one Basic Grey product to qualify for our prize.
We are being sponsored by the fantastic Simon Says Stamp !
The lucky winner will win a $25 spending spree in their store ! All details can of course be found on the BasicGrey Challenge Blog !
I'm trying my best to make a few simple cards for sending to friends and family and also a couple of cards I can put money into for presents.
For this card I found a seed packet template online and just cut the top flap off and punched the top with a circular punch. I shall slip some money into this later !
The DP's I used are Basic Grey Nordic Holiday.
I have been trying to resist the new MFT stamps and die-namics but the urge was too strong and I gave in and ordered the Stitched Stockings and Stocking Trio die-namics the other day ! I must say, I am so pleased now I gave into my cravings ! The stockings have bee stamped with Brilliance Rocket Red and Brilliance Galaxy Gold.
I also used the new Beautiful Bows die-namics from MFT for the bow at the top (another one I couldn't resist !!).
The sentiment is from the Stitched Stockings stamp set.
The raffia I bought at the school fair yesterday from a lady who had a Pheonix Trading stand. This raffia comes out of the tub in 5 different colour strands and looks lovely in real life.
We hope you can join us in our challenge and we look forward to seeing all your Christmassy creations !
I am entering my card into the following challenges
CAS-ual Fridays - Knot or Knots (the raffia is knotted at each end !)
Jingle Belles- Anything (Holiday) Goes
Paper Play - Christmas Is Coming
Thank you so much for your visit and I hope to see you again soon.
Have a great Saturday !
Gorgeous card Jo x
