Merry Christmas !

Good morning and Merry Christmas ! 

 I do hope you had a fabulous day yesterday with your family and friends and were spoilt rotten
by Santa ?

We had a lovely day yesterday, very relaxing and very spoilt.  The girls were so excited and were over the moon with their gifts.

I'm here today to blog the last few remaining Christmas cards I made.  I was hoping to spread these out over a few days but time just got in the way.  Give it a few more days and we will all be fed up of seeing Christmas cards so perhaps today is the perfect time !!

These cards are very quick and simple but I love 'em !

We had so many amazing stamps and dies to choose from this year and I've just loved making Christmas cards this year especially now I'm getting to grips with the CAS style !!

Anyway, I shall leave you with the last few cards and all that remains to be said is.....

Washi Tree !

Whooo hooo ! My holiday has now started !  Bring on the festivities !

I'm here to quickly show you another card I made with the gorgeous Kelly Purkey washi tapes I received from Simon Says Stamp.  I showed off a card a few posts ago and made this one at the same time but time just hasn't allowed me to blog it.  I have a few other cards too which I hope to show you over the coming days - if time permits !!!

This card was so simple, the colours were just so striking I didn't think it needed anything else.  I ran strips of the washi tape along a piece of card and then die cut them - simple !

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Bling it on !!!

Yes, we have a new challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge !

BasicGrey Challenges - Anything Goes and Farewell :(

Wow, those two weeks went by so quickly !  I can't believe its time for another challenge over at BasicGrey Challenges already !!

Before I tell you about our next challenge I have some sad news :(

This will be our final challenge as BasicGrey Challenges will be closing in the New Year.

Heather and I are particularly sad as we have been with BasicGrey Challenges from the very first day when Martine started the Challenge Blog for lovers of Basic Grey products everywhere.

We have worked with many DT members and Guests over the years with whom we have made lifelong friends.  It has always been a very close knit and happy team.

Thank you so much to Simon Says Stamp too who have sponsored us for many years and given you many great prizes.

So, our final challenge will be....

ANYTHING GOES 

Just remember that you will still need to use at least one Basic Grey product !

This challenge will close on 28th December.

I just fell in love with this pillow box die when I saw it.  It's a new one from Sizzix, a Bigz L, Fancy Pillow Box.  I just love the shape of the closing flap.  There are two holes which get punched when you cut the box so you can tie it up and hold it (these are hidden by the snowflake and bells on mine).

I made a matching card to go with it.
