I had a parcel of Hero Arts and other goodliness arrive at the weekend, stamps and daubers and ink sprays I have been wanting to order for a long time and finally caved in and did it !!
I also ordered some of the Tim Holtz distress water-colour card stock to accompany my new distress markers and I love it and can't stop using it ! Although it has a texture, everything stamps so crisp on it and I love the fact that its white !
Having said all that, the card I am showing you today, I didn't use the water-colour card stock !!
A few years ago we had a visit to Wookey Hole Caves which aren't that far from us and as part of their attraction, they make handmade paper and you can even have a go at making your own while you are there. I bought a little memo pad of the handmade paper and have it sat on my desk. I thought I would try it with my distress markers and I was really pleased with the effect.
I adore this Hero Arts Bird.
As always, you can see links to everything I used below.
The leaves were punched from a punch I have had for years, an X-Cut one I think which punches and embosses at the same time. Simon Says Stamp sells similar ones in their store.
I have added this card to my re-opened Etsy Store - craftykrafts !
Have a great day !
This is gorgeous, fab image and designxxx
