What a wet and dreary day ! Perfect for card making !
I've been having a play with another stamp set by Clearly Besotted Stamps in collaboration with Simon Says Stamp and this one is called "Holly Berries".
I made this card using the same technique as my previous card i.e. using distress markers on watercolor card. I used the new dies by Simon Says Stamp called "Bundle of Stitched Shapes" to cut the watercolor card. I love the stitched effect around the outside.
Have you seen that Simon Says Stamp have released some new ink colours ? I have used a new one called "Sparrow" on this card, a lovely brown/grey colour, gorgeous.
I wanted to add the effect of falling snow so I grabbed my falling snow stencil, attached it to my card and dabbed Versamark all over it before heat embossing with Wow Sparkling Snow embossing glitter. It looks great in real life, all sparkly but with just enough white powder to make it look like snow. I think you can just see it in the photo.
