Kuretake UK - Inktober ! Let It Shine

Welcome to Kuretake UK’s Inktober Every October, artists all over the world take on the InkTober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month. To find the “theme of the day” hop on over to Kuretake UK’s Facebook page where they will have full details. 

 The theme for today is “Let it Shine”. 

 Products used : 

 Zig Woodcraft Marker – Primrose 

Zig Woodcraft Marker – Marigold 

 Zig Woodcraft Marker – Antique Metallic 

 To make this card I firstly used the Primrose Woodcraft Marker pen and coloured a whole piece of watercolour card. I die cut some feathers from masking paper and laid these over the top of the ink. Using the Marigold Woodcraft Marker, again colour the whole of the watercolour card. 

 Leaving the original masking paper feathers on the card, die cut some more and place in different positions. Colour the whole of the watercolour card with the Antique Metallic pen. 

 Very carefully remove the die cut feather masks to reveal your layered feathers. 

 Die cut three feathers from watercolour card and colour each one, Primrose, Marigold and Antique Metallic. 

 Heat emboss your sentiment with gold embossing powder onto black card. Assemble the card. Here is my completed card !
