Vintage Inspired

I'm sharing a card inspired by all things Tim Holtz !  You couldn't have missed recently his new release of Christmas stamps and other goodies - my goodness - I want it all !!

I'm always in awe of our amazingly talented Designers on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - just wow !

Back to my card !  I made this card for my Dad's Birthday and used the bird from the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous STAMPtember 2018 stamp set.  This stamp set is no longer available but I have linked below another stamp set that this same bird appears in.

The same goes for the sentiment I used.  This same sentiment appears in the Tim Holtz Christmastime stamp set which I have linked below.  I masked off the rest of the sentiment as I did not want a Christmas sentiment for a birthday card !

The gold layer of card behind the image.  I used a piece of scrap card and edged it with a Krylon gold leaf pen.

I loved getting inky and all vintage - such fun !
