Yes, we have a new challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge !

For this week's challenge, as always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!

Don't you just love this magnificent deer ?  Well, he is made by Kaiser and is one of their wooden shapes.  I bought him from Simon Says Stamp before Christmas but I can't find him any longer.  I inked him up with some distress ink and added some of the glitter to where I thought perhaps snow would fall on him.

Wow ! Doesn't time fly when you are having fun ?! We have been having fun at home with the girls and have been busy tidying away after Christmas. As much as I love getting Christmas decorations up, I love taking them down too ! Your rooms look so big don't they ?

Well, the girls are back to school today and they seemed very happy about that and were full of giggles this morning !  They have enjoyed the holidays but are looking forward to getting back into a routine again and catching up with all their friends, as am I !!

I've been grabbing some time here and there to sneak off into my craft room for a play !  I bought loads of stamps and papers just before Christmas which I didn't get a chance to play with so I was really excited to crack them open !

I just loved these Mama Elephant "No Peeking" stamps !  They are sooo cute !  I thought a Winter thank you card would be perfect for them although they can be used for any occasion at anytime of year !

Golly have I struggled to get decent photographs.  With all these storms it has been so dark with hardly a photo break in sight !!

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Something New !

HAPPY NEW YEAR !  I wish you all the very best for 2014 !

I am looking forward to a new and exciting year ahead although I have no idea what those new and exiting things are going to be !!

I am so thankful for my fantastic family and friends around me, that I am able to stay at home and work and look after my two wonderful girls and husband.  I am thrilled to be still being published in Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine and others and for being part of the Simon Says Stamp Team.  I really do have an amazing life and I feel I just don't appreciate it enough - that is my New Year's Resolution - to appreciate my life and the people in it more.

I love this MFT a la modes stamp, you can use it to celebrate anything !  I thought she would look fab with the fireworks going off around her from the Simon Says Stamp stamp set and the Hero Arts neon inks were just perfect for those gorgeous, bright colours that fireworks have.
