BasicGrey Blog Candy # 13

THIS BLOG CANDY IS NOW CLOSED

Here are some cards I have made with this fantastic froggy stamp set !! If you click on the images they should become larger so you can see them in more detail !

Well, here we are again with another fantastic BasicGrey Blog Candy courtesty of Simon Says Stamp ! Just look at these amazing goodies you could win !

So, what do you have to do to win my candy ?

Some of you will be used to it by now but for those first timers, here goes :

Well, there are no strict rules and the comments I make below are not compulsory to enter this draw but it would be nice if :

You could give your support to Simon Says Stamp, BasicGrey Challenges and myself by becoming a follower if you are not already. Add my blog candy to your sidebar and please feel free to "take away" my blinkie !

Join in with us at BasicGrey Challenges and also Simon Says Stamp's challenge blog, Simon Says Challenge ! You can combine challenges with both of these challenge blogs which is great news !

This blog candy will be open to everyone Worldwide (including all DT members of both challenge blogs) until Saturday 6th March when I shall draw a winner with a random number generator and post a new fabby blog candy for you to enter.

To make it much quicker for me to choose a winner, I am going to start using Mr Linky but there is a catch !!! Every fortnight I shall ask you a question and I would like you to answer that question after your name. It will be a one word answer so not difficult.

This fortnight's question is : What is (or was) your worst crafting purchase ?

I think mine has to be the mountains of peel-offs I have stored away ! Why are these always a "crafting essential" when you start and everyone recommends you get a load ?!!!!! hehehehe

For example, you would leave your answer as Jo Nevill (Peel-offs)

Anyone not leaving the answer to my question will have their name deleted to stop spammers and also people only entering for the sake of it (if you know what I mean and I don't wish to be rude in anyway).

I would like to give a huge thank you to both Heidi and Steph of Simon Says Stamp for giving me this fantastic candy again for you to win.

Good luck !

  1. Hi Jo,
Fab candy again hun. I don't see Mr Linky though!! My worst craft purchase would have to be a set of parchment craft materials - great idea just not enough hours in the day!!!!!
Will try later for Mr Linky but thought I would leave this comment just in case he never returns.
    Hugs
    Dawn xx

The frogs are so cute, i love them.
Worst crafting purchase? Think a lot of 3d-sheets, but also peel-offs, too. And punches that doesn't work..and and and. *lol*

Like your cards very much!! Keep on crafting!

  9. Hello!

I'm sorry to say but my worst purchase has to be the Slice; I used it once when I bought it at a fair one year ago when it just hit the market in my country but then I never used it again and now they are soooo much less expensive...

La Vikinga wants to participate in the blog and hopes for luck...

Definitely stickers! So much so that I didn't even mind the other day when my daughter came into my room with stickers all over her face dressed as 'a mummy' ... I still have plenty left! lol

    Thanks!

  16. I dont know if they are my worst purchase but I do have plenty of punches: Florals, different shapes and sizes, animals, cars, bows, hearts, stars etc.
I don't use them all. Some of them I never have ... but I felt inspired when I saw them and had to have them. As you say, especially in the beginning *SS*

Thank you for an intelligent blog with plenty of heart. I have placed your candy in the sidebar because - to be honest - I LOVE those frogs. How wonderfully funny and cute they are. And (as it was with the punches) I want to own them ;-)

    Yours Trine

  17. Thank you so much for the comment on my block. It was my first foreign comment and I'm very proud it came from you.

I'm just sorry you don't understand what I write in Danish. But under the picture in the sidebar I wrote that you posed and interesting question. Something not many others do.

  18. Thank you for the chance!

Answer to the question: I never bought anything bad. I just started this hobby and don't have many supplies yet and where i live it is so incredible hard to get anything. so i follow tuts online from other stampers and than order on Ebay :)

  19. Hello Jo!

My worst purchase disappointment was a round blade cutter that doesn't cut right, a puncher that doesn't punch and a glue-stick that doesn't glue well.

below is a link to my blog with an add about your candy in the right side bar.

    love the frog-stamps a lot! ))

  22. Thanks for the candy chance! My worst purchase was the Spellbinder Die Cut Machine. The directions that came with it were incorrect and I was unable to get it to work. Calls to the company were ignored, and I was really sorry I had invested SO much money in it.

  23. Great Candy!! *_*
I think my worst craft purchase was a fancy edged scissors..it absolutely doesn't cut anything! >.<
