Simon Says Challenge

Here we are again, my goodness, don't the week's fly by ? It's February already !

This week's challenge is a photo inspiration and here is the photo:

This week is more exciting than usual as of course we have our three new DT members joining us and boy, you have to see their cards, they are gorgeous !

Here is my card

I'm very sorry I'm unable to tell you about the DP as I found it while sorting through some papers to send to Judy and though this would be perfect for this challenge. It has actually got green roses on it but of course, I have covered them up with the image !

The green card is Core'dinations which I have run through the Cuttlebug using a daisy embossing folder and then sanded.

The image is by CC Designs and these are on their way to Simon Says Stamp as we speak ! This cutie is called "Rosalie" and she has been coloured with ProMarkers.

The lace and flowers are from my stash.

The bling has been created using one of those Bazzill Basics templates and some gems. These are so handy and a lot cheaper than buying the ready made ones. You just need a steady hand to hold the template down and try picking the tiny gems up with tweezers, dip them in glue (if not sticky !) and then put them in the hole in the template. I might try using some masking tape next time to hold the template down and hope it doesn't tear the paper when I take it off.

The tag is from a bag of tags I bought ages ago and only discovered again a few weeks ago. Now everything has a tag on it ! The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusive stamp set.
