Kuretake UK - Christmas

Christmas is certainly in the air ! Are you getting excited yet ?!! Well, over at Kuretake UK we are getting all our Christmas projects ready to show you and here is the first of mine !

I watched a video made by Dawn of WPlus9 a few weeks ago where she used Gansai Tambi paints for stamping with.  You can see her video HERE.

I just knew I had to try this technique with this gorgeous stamp set "Twinkle Towns" by Mama Elephant.  I followed Dawn's technique by applying a green watercolour wash in the area where I was going to stamp and then painted directly onto the stamp before stamping onto the watercolour card.  I then did the same for the branch.  There is a pale blue wash over the watercolour card too.

I gold heat embossed the "string", the bauble and decorative inside too and then watercoloured the village scene.

I really love how this turned out and will be trying this technique again !

Thank's for looking !
