Kaboodle Doodles Design Team Creations

The Kaboodle Doodles Design Team are now working very hard on their creations with the kits available to purchase and download from Kaboodle Doodles. I can now show you what I have made so far and as usual, I will give you details of the kit I used from Kaboodle Doodles and also anything else I have used. I hope you like what you see !

Pink and Blue

This kit available to download is called "Pink and Blue" and consists of six different patterned papers each in pink and blue.

The ATC was made using pink patterned paper that has lovely flowers on it in a darker pink available in the kit. The doodles were drawn by Tiggertastic of the Crafts Beautiful Forum which she very kindly made available for us to download. She was also very kind in letting me use these doodles to make my ATC for Kaboodle Doodles. Thank you Sarah ! The doodles were coloured using watercolour pencils and the dragonfly doodle was coloured using Sakura pens. I covered the flower in 3D gloss but unfortunately it does not show in the photo.

The new baby girl card was made using the spotty pink pattered paper available in the kit. The rik rak ribbon, lilac dresses, flowers, gems and sentiment are all from my stash.

The bird card was made using the blue patterned paper which is covered in little pale blue and darker blue birds. I just had to use my Hero Arts Decorative Birds stamps for this card ! The flower corner stamp is from a set from Inkadinkado called "The Florish Pack" and the sentiment is from a pack of Hero Arts stamps called "Hello Birdie". I coloured them using watercolour pencils. The flowers, ribbon and brads are from my stash. I added some Stickles to my flowers for a touch of sparkle.

The last blue card was made using the same patterned paper as the pink ATC, it has darker blue flowers on it. The image is a Penny Black stamp called "Constellations" and the butterfly is a Penny Black stamp called "Bohemian". These were "painted" with Whispers pens and spritzed with water to give a watercolour effect. I added blue Stickles to give a sparkle. The flowers, brads and photo corners are all from my stash.

Baby

This kit available to download is called "Baby" and consists of pink and blue pattered papers, borders, babies and lettering.

Both girl and boy birth announcement tags were made entirely using items in the kit. I just added the ribbons, eyelets and "announcement" part of the tags and some Stickles glitter for the girl's tag.

The baby boy card was also made using the pattered paper, baby and lettering from the kit. The blue card and brads are from my stash.

The baby girl card was also made using the pattered paper and baby available in the kit. The pink card and brads were from my stash and I made the sentiment on my PC.

Animals

This kit to download is called "Animals" and consists of patterned papers, animals (coloured and uncoloured) and doodled circles in various colours.

I made the photo folder from the patterned paper and animals in the kit. The folder shows every animal available in the kit. The ribbon, beads, brads and yellow card are all from my stash.

The birthday card is made using the patterned paper, animals and some doodled circles from the kit. The sentiment was made by me on my PC and the button was from my stash.

Alien

This kit to download is called "Alien" and consists of pattered papers, borders, aliens, rockets, clouds, moons and everything you need to make out of this World alien creations !

The birthday card is made entirely of the alien kit apart from the sentiment which I made myself on my PC.

The door hanger is also made entirely of the alien kit apart from the "Taken Off" and "Landed" clouds which I made myself on my PC and the star gems from my stash.

The party invitation is also made entirely of the alien kit apart from the text and "party" lettering. The patterned paper used to make the "party" lettering is available in the kit.

All Star Kit

This kit available to download is called "All Star" and consists of the patterned papers that you can see (and some others too), the stars and sentiments.

I used my Bind It All to make the notebook and used gems and ribbons from my stash.

For the girls card I used a Magnolia Tilda stamp which was coloured using watercolour pencils. The ribbon and flower are from Poppicrafts.

For the boys card I used Edwin in his cap stamp which was coloured using watercolour pencils and the ribbon is a transparent ribbon from Sassycrafts by Junkitz "Extreme Boy" Transparency Ribbonz

Perfect - Crafting and Coffee !

What a lovely morning I have had today. I went off on my own (yes, I did say on my own !) to a beautiful little craft shop called Potato Patch Crafts in Devizes for a craft and coffee morning and it was fantastic. I met a lovely lady called Ruth and the owner Jane. Ruth and I were given the run of the whole workshop and all the stash you could think of - absolute heaven. Jane was fantastic and joined us (customers in the shop allowing) whenever she could to give us quick demos and loads of handy hints and tips. We had great fun and I shall definitely be joining them again when I can. I made these two cards while I was there.

I'm not sure of everything I used to make these cards as I took the pattered paper from a box full to the brim of every pattered paper you could ever lay your hands on !! I think it may be a DCWV paper ?

The stamps for the first card are Inkadinkado clear stamps called "The Garden Variety" and I coloured these using Marvy pens and a watercolour brush.

The stamp for the second card is an Inca wooden stamp called "3D Scroll Butterfly" and I coloured this with Sakura pens and a watercolour brush.

Now for the "oh dear" bit.......

We all know we cannot enter a craft shop without feeling the need to give as much of that lonely looking, beautiful, sparkly and gorgeous stash a new loving home but how many of us actually go out for a cup of coffee, make a couple of cards and then return home with not only some of that beautiful stash that needs rehoming but a Cricut machine as well !!

Yes, I bought a Cricut (the baby one) ! One of Jane's customers had bought "baby" a while ago and didn't get on with it and so she decided to sell it for less than half its original price ! Well, how could I refuse ! "Baby" is now sat proudly on my table and I have spent an enjoyable afternoon playing with her and cutting every letter and shape you can think of !

CB August Tag Swap

This was the first tag swap for CB and the theme was friendship. My tags went to Clara Cluck.

Tiggertastic's Doodles

Sarah (Tiggertastic) very generously let the members of the CB Forum download some of her doodles which are fantastic. I had to make a few ATC's for swaps last night and lost all inspiration for them until I saw Sarah's very generous offer. I used a couple to make this ATC. I hope I have done her doodles justice !

The patterned paper is a download from Kaboodle Doodles

I coloured the flower picture with watercolour pencils and then added some 3-D clear gloss. The dragonfly was coloured using Sakura pens and then blended using my watercolour brush. I also added my own doodles but they are nowhere near as good as Sarah's !

Get Well Soon

A very dear friend of mine is feeling under the weather at the moment and I'm missing her adding that extra sparkle to my life. She is a wonderful, caring, inspiring and kind person and she is loved very much not only by me but lots of other people too. I made this card for her as I know she adores Tilda as much as I do and I hope it helps to brighten her day.
