Don't forget to enter my BasicGrey Blog Candy ! All you have to do is CLICK HERE ! I will be closing this candy later today and choosing a winner. A new candy will also be posted later on and boy, its a scrummy one !!
I can't believe that this time last week I was starting to meet up with my wonderful friends in London and wow, what a wonderful day we had. Hasn't this week flown by though ?
This week at BasicGrey Challenges we have a sketch by our wonderful boss Martine ! What a fantastic sketch it is too, I will be keeping this one to use in the future. Thank's darlin !
I am also combining my card with a DT card for Quixotic Paperie as Elaine had sent me this fantastic image and I found the perfect papers to use him with.
The DP's are BasicGrey "Granola". Animal prints aren't usually my cup of tea but these are fantastic and perfect for this proud fellow !
The image is from the Whimsy Animal collection and you can find him at Quixotic Paperie here. Elaine, in aid of World Cardmaking Day is offering everyone 10% off everything this weekend so now is the chance to treat yourself to this gorgeous fellow and more !!!!
He has been coloured with ProMarkers and I can't believe that I have tidied up after myself for a change and can't remember the colours ! I know they are definately the new colours and I would have a guess at tan, caramel and chestnut ! I have also inked the image with faded jeans and antique linen distress inks.
The buttons are from my stash and so is the twine but I believe you can also buy this at Quixotic Paperie.
The sentiment is Melissa Frances transfer.
We also have a special guest designer for October :-
"Many of you may already know Ruth from A Passion for Cards as not only is she a super talented crafter but she is a super talented illustrator and a really lovely lady too :). Ruth has just started to sell her own stamp designs and they really are adorable, pop on over to her blog A Passion for Cards to see her creations using her stamps and to see the full range of stamps pop on over to her A Passion for Stamps blog :)."
Welcome to the team Ruth, we hope you have fun !
Please also hop over and have a look at the rest of the DT's fabby creations. Coinsidentally we seem to be having a bit of an "animal" theme going this week !
We look forward to seeing your fabby creations !
Edited to say : The DT members of Quixotic cards are offering candy today to celebrate World Cardmaking Day.
