Simon Says Stamp - March 2015 Card Kit

Hello ! 

I'm back with another card I have made from the new Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit. This time I used one of the journaling cards and stamped the sentiment on it from the stamp set which comes with the kit called "Flowers On My Mind".  I just adore the font in this stamp set. 

The sentiment was too long to fit on the journaling card so I stamped the words bit by bit masking off the rest with some masking tape and then removing the masking tape before I stamped the words (otherwise you would get black smudges where the ink got onto the tape !).

A twine bow and some sparkly sequins and this card was good to go !

I wanted to try some proper watercoloring again and seeing as I am no artist, I think this turned out better than I was expecting it to !

Simon Says Stamp - March 2015 Card Kit

Don't you just love it when the Postman brings something other than brown envelopes ? Well, I received a brown box today ! The new Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit !

This card kit is just beautiful, the papers are stunning.  There is a pack of journaling cards too which match the papers and make making a quick card so easy.  You will also receive some co-ordinating card stock, a Simon Says Medium Dot Line Die and Ranger Onyx Liquid Pearls.  You certainly won't be disappointed.

I remembered my huge basket of flowers, these were just perfect.

Simon Says Stamp - Hop To It Release !

It's arrived ! Today is the day that Simon Says Stamp's newest releases go on sale. This release is called "Hop To It" and as always, this release is fresh and exciting and has something for everyone !  You can find the whole of the new release HERE !

I used this gorgeous set of stamps called "Artful Flowers".

I stamped the flowers onto vellum before heat embossing them with white embossing powder and then fussy cutting them out (there are matching dies available with this set - link below).  The sentiments have also been heat embossed.
